This is stated in a statement from the bank’s press service, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
On October 20, the bank began working with money transfers for sending/payment in Russian rubles through the IntelExpress system.
The international money transfer system Intel Express provides individuals with the opportunity to exchange money transfers to more than 90 countries around the world.
The system unites 27 different local money transfer systems; points under the Intel Express brand operate in the UK, Georgia, Greece and Italy.
Petro Poroshenko put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to extend sanctions against Russian legal entities and individuals for 1 year.
The National Bank ordered banks and non-banking institutions to stop working with Russian payment systems.
President Petro Poroshenko indirectly owns 60% of the shares of the International Investment Bank.
Another major shareholder of the bank is the first deputy chairman of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction, Igor Kononenko, with a stake of 14,9% of shares.
