Consolation prize: Tymoshenko wins in the Ivano-Frankivsk region
The leader of the Batkivshchyna party, Yulia Tymoshenko, according to preliminary data, managed to become a leader in the presidential elections, at least in the Carpathian region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the Central Election Commission, after processing protocols from 85% of polling stations in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, the share of voters who supported Tymoshenko increased to 21,96%, which allowed her to bypass the still incumbent President Petro Poroshenko (he has 21,57%). .
According to the latest data from the Central Election Commission, just over 112,5 thousand people voted for Poroshenko in the region, while 2053 more people voted for Tymoshenko.
In addition, Petro Poroshenko lost the elections in his fiefdom – Vinnytsia region. Vladimir Zelensky is in first place there.
