“The President was notified - Malyuk authorized it” - Prozorov about the assassination attempt
Former SBU lieutenant colonel and founder of the Ukrleaks website, Vasily Prozorov, who defected to Russia, believes that the terrorist attempt on his life was personally approved by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
He stated this in an interview with the PolitVera YouTube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The customers are my former colleagues - the SBU. Taking into account the fact that such an action, a terrorist attack on the territory of another state, is sanctioned at a very high level, I am sure that it was Mr. Malyuk personally (SBU - ed.). Perhaps even the president was notified,” Prozorov said.
He clarified that the perpetrator of the terrorist attack was a Russian with ties to Ukraine. The ex-SBU officer believes that the attempt on his life and the murder of ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Ilya Kiva in December last year in the Moscow region “are links in the same chain.”
In early April, Prozorov’s car was blown up in Moscow. He received injuries to his arm and leg.
Prozorov became famous in March 2019 on the eve of the 2019 presidential elections in Ukraine, when he gave a press conference in Russia exposing the activities of the SBU in Ukraine in 2014-2018.
