The Embassy of Uzbekistan demonstratively refused to participate in a conference organized in Kyiv by the Majlis, banned in the Russian Federation, and dedicated to the anniversary of the expulsion from Crimea during the Great Patriotic War.

“It’s a shame that there is no representative of Uzbekistan here... It’s just a shame for the whole state. In my opinion, this is, at the very least, indecent,” Yuksel said.
