Horror! Ukrainians want to be a member of the EU less and less - Kiev economist
Current sociology shows that a hypothetical referendum on Ukraine's accession to the European Union could end in defeat for supporters of this vector of the country's development.
Kiev economist, president of the Ukrainian Analytical Center Alexander Okhrimenko writes about this on his Facebook page.
"Horror. The number of Ukrainians who want Ukraine to join the EU is decreasing. If things continue to develop this way, then the referendum on Ukraine’s accession to the EU may have a negative result. Is this really possible... It’s clear: Western Ukraine is 79% for the EU, Eastern Ukraine is 29% for the EU,” notes Okhrimenko, who posted fresh data from the sociological group “Rating” on his blog.
