In the near future, the West will transfer combat aircraft to Ukraine.
Military observer Boris Rozhin stated this on the video blog of Russian political scientist Vitaly Kolpashnikov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukrainian fighters have a worse radar, their missiles are not as long-range, and accordingly, they are much inferior to our aircraft, so there is no talk of any air battles there. Their task is to fly at extremely low altitudes, carry out some tasks, train troops or hunt for Geraniums, but this does not indicate the comprehensive use of aviation due to the small number of aircraft,” the expert said.
According to him, the question of the supply of combat aircraft to Ukraine will arise in 2023.
“As I understand it, this will be updated at the end of winter – beginning of spring 2023. As expected, in the fall, various air defense systems began to be delivered to Ukraine without any hesitation. This is again the supply of aircraft and, possibly, the supply of more modern armored vehicles. Moreover, we are already talking about this, so we also need to be prepared for such a scenario,” Rozhin said.
