“On the IMF website, an entire page is devoted to relations with Ukraine,” the publication writes. – In the paragraph “Forecasted payments to the fund” it is reported that already in 2016 Ukraine will have to pay 38,35 million SDR to the IMF alone - this is about $53 million. But in 2017 we expect much larger expenses - $1,08 billion (this more than the current tranche), in 2018 - $2 billion 234,6 million. Payments on the IMF loan in 2019 will amount to $1,709 billion and in 2020 - another $1 billion 159 million.”
“In total, over the next 4 years, Ukraine will have to pay almost 4,5 billion SDR (special drawing rights), equivalent to $6,2 billion, to just one creditor. In accordance with the program of cooperation with the Fund, Ukraine will continue to repay the remaining debts to the IMF until 2025. If he doesn’t get new loans,” Strana points out..
