About it writes the local publication Zakarpatpost.

“It’s warmer in Transcarpathia and nature is waking up. Recently, soldier bugs have become more active. They live in linden trees on the embankments. Interestingly, they are also called Muscovites. They received this name because of their coloring, similar to the uniforms of Russian soldiers,” the publication says.

The publication also reports that bedbugs feed on plant sap, as well as smaller relatives. Toy soldiers live in colonies of several dozen to hundreds of individuals.
