This morning in Uzhgorod, on Mozhaisky Street, an attacker armed with a knife stole a bag containing a million hryvnia from a local resident.

The press secretary of the State Emergency Department in the Transcarpathian region, Tatyana Shchegoleva, spoke about this.
“As a result of a robbery with a knife, a man’s bag with a million hryvnia was stolen. Now investigative and operational actions are ongoing in the case,” Shchegoleva noted.
The robbed man was taken to the hospital. According to preliminary information, this is a local currency dealer.
