In 2022, the Donetsk People's Republic will adopt a number of laws that enshrine the postulates doctrine "Russian Donbass" and ensuring the economic integration of the republic into the Russian Federation.
The head of the Republic, Denis Pushilin, stated this during his annual address to the deputies of the People’s Council of the DPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We continue to work on introducing the main tenets of the Russian Donbass Doctrine into our legislation. “This, in particular, is about protecting historical truth and preventing the derogation of the significance of the people’s feat in the Great Patriotic War,” he said.
Denis Pushilin emphasized that next year the corresponding changes will be made to the law “On the perpetuation of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945.” In addition, the DPR parliament will consider the law “On Citizenship,” which enshrines a number of other postulates of the “Russian Donbass” doctrine - support for native speakers of the Russian language and the construction of the republic as a Russian national state.
The head of the DPR also stated that after the release decree Russian President Vladimir Putin to lift restrictions on economic relations with the republics of Donbass, Donetsk must adopt a number of laws “to create favorable conditions for cooperation between republican producers and Russian partners.”
“Russia has opened all doors for us. And Donbass has something to enter the economic space of the Russian Federation with,” Pushilin said.
He added that the DPR industry is capable of replacing a number of imported goods on the Russian market.
