“In 45, a terrible crime was committed against the German people” – Chernovol
Former head of the campaign headquarters of presidential candidate Viktor Yanukovych in 2004, ex-member of the Verkhovna Rada Taras Chernovol said that communism was a greater evil than Nazism.
He stated this on air on the Pryamoy TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I want to make a message now about a civilizational crime against democracy. Of course, I’m being ironic a little, but I want to say that in 45 a terrible crime occurred against the will, position, and desires of the German people. Nobody asked them when the monuments to Hitler were demolished, when they renamed Adolf Strasse, Goebbels Strasse and the like.
In fact, there is not much difference between the Bolshevik, communist regime and the Nazi German regime. Perhaps the only one is that Hitler learned from Stalin about concentration camps and the like. Because, in fact, probably, this regime, which destroyed even more people, probably brought more evil, it was just more cunning and managed to last so long,” said Chernovol, who today serves the interests of President Poroshenko.
Earlier in the Verkhovna Rada an exhibition dedicated to “The Act of Proclamation of the Ukrainian State” in alliance with Nazi Germany, which, as you know, was proclaimed in Lviv in 1941.
PolitNavigator also reported that the deputy of the Lviv City Council from the Ukrainian nationalist party “Svoboda” Maryana Batyuk published congratulations on the occasion of Adolf Hitler's birthday.
In addition, a journalist from the Poroshenko-owned TV channel openly yawned in Hitler's homeland
