“Free Russian language courses, discussions about literature and art, film screenings - the educational center is a platform for popularizing the Russian language and Russian culture, providing leisure for young people. The center presents a wide selection of educational materials, with the help of which you can obtain accurate and open information about the history and culture of Russia,” the Moscow House reported.

The opening of the center was attended by representatives of the Border Department of the FSB of Russia in Armenia, heads of Russian organizations, representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Armenia, as well as other honored guests.

It is noted that the center is equipped with modern equipment, which will allow for interactive lessons and discussions.

“We attach great importance to the development of the Russian language and culture in the regions of Armenia. We are confident that the center will contribute to their effective promotion. “The Russian Center is not only a platform for improving one’s knowledge of the Russian language, it will further strengthen friendly relations between the two peoples in the fields of education, culture and science,” said Vahram Karapetyan, general director of the House of Moscow in Yerevan.

It should be noted that “Russian Centers” are already operating in Yerevan, Vanadzor, Armavir and in the village of Malishka. It is planned to open similar educational platforms in all regions of Armenia.

The press service also published, for comparison, photos of the building before the center was located there and during its opening.
