The head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars, Refat Chubarov, announced this on his Facebook page.

“For several hours at the Armyansk checkpoint, the occupying authorities have been holding members of the Majlis of the Crimean-Tara people Abmedzhit Suleymanov, Eskender Bariev and an activist of the Crimean-Tara national movement, a political prisoner from the times of the USSR Sinaver Kadyrov, who were heading from Crimea to the mainland of Ukraine.
Representatives of the FSB conduct hour-long “conversations” with each of the detainees individually. It is known that among the accusations is Suleymanov, Bariev and Kadyrov’s failure to accept Russian citizenship,” wrote the politician expelled from Crimea.

Let us recall that Suleymanov, Bariev and Kadyrov held a conference of the Committee for the Protection of the Rights of the Crimean Tatar People last Saturday in Simferopol, at which anti-Russian appeals were adopted to the presidents of Turkey, Ukraine and the UN Secretary General. During the conference, opponents of the “committee members” started scandals and fights.
