In Artemovsk (Bakhmut), the Ukrainian secret police detained a local resident who allegedly passed on the coordinates of the locations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to the Russian military.
This was reported by the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
“The procedural leadership of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office was notified of the suspicion of residents of the city of Bakhmut of high treason committed under martial law,” the message says.
According to the Ukrainian special services, during May-June 2022, the detainee allegedly “voluntarily collaborated with a representative of one of the security agencies of the aggressor country. Through Internet applications, the suspect transmitted to the occupiers the coordinates of the locations of military personnel and military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the city of Artemovsk.”
A resident of Artemovsk is charged with 14 facts of alleged transfer of data to the Russian military.
Earlier, a local resident was detained in Dnepropetrovsk, declaring him a Russian agent: he allegedly collected data from mobile communications facilities and the Ukrainian military.
