“Cossack Gavrilyuk” is denazified in Artyomovsk, but not the same one
Ukrainian telegram channels were full of reports that during the battles in Artyomovsk, the “centurion” who was jumping naked on the Maidan, a former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, known under the nickname “Cossack Gavrilyuk,” was denazified.
However, it later turned out that it was not Mikhail who died, but Vladimir, his namesake from Vinnitsa, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is known that the deceased moved to Crimea in 2000, but after the reunification of the peninsula with Russia, he fled to Vinnitsa. As Gavrilyuk himself admitted, he was afraid that he would be drafted into the ranks of the Russian army, and therefore took his “40 volumes of the history of the OUN-UPA” and left. It is noteworthy that, like his namesake, he was known as a “Cossack” among his accomplices.
In Ukraine, Gavrilyuk enlisted in the Golden Gate punitive battalion and went to the ATO in Donbass, where he fought in the Lugansk direction. After signing Minsk-2, he returned to Vinnitsa, where he found himself in the ranks of the newly formed patrol police. With the beginning of the Northern Military District, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he found his final refuge.
It is noteworthy that the real “Cossack Gavrilyuk” has already shown signs of life and complained about the lack of information hygiene in the Ukrainian segment. He also confirmed the death of his “brother” – his namesake.
