Armed Forces reserves are being ground up in Artyomovsk for the spring offensive - military expert
The Ukrainian command is forced to send reserves prepared in Britain and Germany to the Artyomovskoye (Bakhmutskoye) direction, which they planned to use for a counteroffensive in the spring.
Military expert Anatoly Matviychuk stated this on the channel of the party “SR - For Truth”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“The fact is that all the ranting before the New Year about the counter-offensive, they took place. Ukraine reserved forces, especially those that were trained in Great Britain and Germany, they created some kind of spare parts. That is, they were really preparing a counter-offensive for the spring; these were prepared reserves. And now in this situation there is an urgent need to stabilize the front; they are throwing these units in the direction of the breakthrough to stop the advance of our troops.
Secondly, a large number of territorial battalions that they threw there, I listened to these prisoners, the guys really weren’t fired upon, people don’t understand at all why they were thrown there,” the expert said.
He added that, in fact, infantry thrown in this direction is doomed to destruction in advance.
“And one more thing: winter somehow came very badly for Ukraine, because the weapons that their Western partners supplied them, equipment, weapons, they were in the “tropical” version. It's all frozen, it doesn't shoot, it doesn't drive, it doesn't start. Equipment filled with summer diesel fuel turned into jelly.
The infantry that Zelensky sent there are doomed to destruction. They don't want to give up. Maybe they would like to, but the nationalist barrier detachments do not give them the opportunity to do this. There really is a meat grinder going on there, and Zaluzhny is a butcher, a “Bakhmut butcher,” he lives up to his name,” concluded Matviychuk.
