According to local residents, there is no electricity in the city and problems with mobile communications. People are hiding in bomb shelters or their own apartments.

In addition, as the press service of DTEK reports, due to the power supply line of the Avdeevka Coke and Chemical Plant being damaged as a result of hostilities, the enterprise is teetering on the brink of an environmental and man-made disaster, since the plant is currently not supplied with electricity.

In addition, the company is concerned that in the event of a complete shutdown of coke production at AKHZ, there may be a volley discharge of untreated industrial water from the enterprise containing harmful and toxic substances (ammonia, phenols, thiocyanates, resins, etc.), hundreds of times exceeding the maximum permissible norms discharges.

As Navigator reported, earlier shutdowns of enterprises began in Lugansk due to lack of power supply.
