In Austria they called for the BPP, the Popular Front and their sponsors to be completely wiped off the face of the earth.
Of the three weeks allotted between the rounds, one has already ended, but none of the non-standard actions or ideas predicted by Poroshenko’s supporters came from him or his headquarters. All this suggests that Poroshenko has already fired all his ammunition and is heading towards inevitable defeat.
This opinion was expressed in his Telegram channel by the former deputy head of Viktor Yanukovych’s administration, Andrei Portnov, who now lives in Vienna, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Nothing works for him (Petro Poroshenko – Ed) anymore. Neither rumors, nor assumptions, nor inflated expectations, nor bluff, nor lies, nor fakes, nor half-dead international support. In the remaining two weeks, against the backdrop of Poroshenko’s distrust rating going through the roof, it is no longer possible to change the almost fifteen percent gap, even if his opponent, instead of taking tests, went on a binge right on the air,” Portnov is sure.
In his opinion, “it is now important for opponents of the current regime to work to ensure that Poroshenko not only loses, but significantly worsens the result and is literally defeated.”
According to Portnov, the defeat of Poroshenko “will create powerful public support for any first decisions of the new president and rapid arrests of key officials and business partners of Poroshenko, laying the foundation for a completely new configuration of the future parliament.”
“The key political task of the first months is to completely wipe out the BPP, the Popular Front and their key sponsors,” the ex-official concluded.
