Azerbaijan wants to deprive Russia of the opportunity to “rise from its knees”
The goal of the Ukrainian army in the confrontation with Russia is not only the military-political capitulation of the Russian Federation, but also the deprivation of the status of a nuclear power.
Local military analyst Agil Rustamzade stated this on the video blog of ex-adviser to the former president of Azerbaijan, political scientist Eldar Namazov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What is the goal of the Ukrainian army for me? The Ukrainian army must ensure the military-political surrender of the Russian Federation. After this, the nuclear arsenal must be withdrawn, and various processes must be launched. Let’s say they had a period of democracy after the collapse of the Soviet Union until the early 2000s,” the expert says.
According to him, the peace treaty will not prevent war in the future.
“Now we need to develop such tools so that people who can raise Russia again will never be able to come to power there. Let's remember the First and Second World Wars. If Ukraine reaches the borders of 1991, there will be “Minsk-3”, a peace treaty, something – this is a delay. Then the children of those who did not fight now will fight,” Rustamzade said.
