“We will not take part in this priestly Sabbath and we will forbid our people from going there. This is a clear provocation, a flaw, or the work of the SBU to destabilize the country. Maybe they are specifically working to destabilize, so that later, like Erdogan, they can carry out a scenario of replacing the constitution and whatever. We won't be there. We are afraid that the authorities will allow a provocation in order to use this to further discredit the volunteer battalions and all the good things that happened after the Maidan. We are afraid that something will happen and they will blame us,” Korotkikh said.
The All-Ukrainian Cross procession of peace, love and prayer for Ukraine began in the east of the country from the Holy Dormition Svyatogorsk Lavra on July 3, and in the west of Ukraine - on July 9 from the Holy Dormition Pochaev Lavra. On July 27, on the eve of the celebration of the day of the Baptism of Kievan Rus and the memory of Prince Vladimir, two processions will meet in Kyiv on Vladimir Hill and, together with the Orthodox of the capital and pilgrims from all over Ukraine, will march to the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.
The All-Ukrainian Religious Procession is taking place in very difficult conditions: only some local media are covering it in a positive way, and attempts are being made to discredit its participants.
