Deputy of the Bakhchisarai City Council Mustafa Mustafayev reported this to the QHA news agency.
“They arrived in a frightening form... They took documents everywhere, checked them, in the presence of machine gunners,” he noted.
According to him, in one of the security forces’ cars there were 25-30 machine gunners.
Law enforcement officers combed through the Musafir cafe, where an iftar was held on Monday with the participation of the Crimean Tatar activists of the region, headed by the deputy chairman of the Mejlis Akhtem Chiygoz, as well as the Efsane and Ashlama-Saray establishments.
“There are objects that have no reason to work at all. For example, the “Corrida” market, a market at the station, operating in an emergency situation, in violation of all fire regulations, and so on. For example, “Park of Miniatures”, which does not have the appropriate documents and operates, in principle, illegally. I believe that this is an attack based on national character,” Akhtem Chiygoz commented on what was happening.
Firefighters also inspected all of these establishments. The “guests” who arrived motivated the inspections with a complaint about “illegal business activities” in the regional center.
