The head of the Bakhchisarai district council, Refat Derdarov, announced this on his Facebook page.
“Today, May 18, near the building of the Bakhchisarai District Council, young people handed out blue ribbons to everyone who wanted to support representatives of the peoples deported from Crimea. Passers-by noted that such events work to unite the peoples of Crimea,” Derdarov wrote.
According to the authorities of the Republic of Crimea, the blue ribbon symbolizes solidarity with representatives of the peoples of the peninsula who were repressed in 1941-1944.
