The scandalous action of Corovic and Jacimovic took place the night before in Belgrade. Having gathered a large number of press representatives, the activists went to the nearest market, where they bought a carton of eggs, and then headed to a place on the corner of Negosheva and Aleksa Nenadovic streets, where a mural of the legendary Bosnian Serb general Ratko Mladic was painted on one of the walls. The provocateurs threw eggs at the image, after which they were immediately detained by people in civilian clothes.

“I have been a human rights activist for many years, and my position is to support all the victims of Srebrenica,” Aida Corovic explained her action.

After the arrest of the participants in the provocative performance, Belgrade pro-Western liberals announced a rally in their support near the House of Trade Unions, but the provocateurs were quickly released.

“The police do not protect the mural, but protect public order and peace, and also monitor the implementation of the ban on gatherings. To this end, all persons are dealt with according to the law, regardless of their relationship to the graffiti of General Ratko Mladic. Many people want photos of broken Serbian heads to come from Belgrade, just in time for the Day of Fight against Fascism and Anti-Semitism. By its actions, the Ministry of Internal Affairs complied with the law and prevented such pictures,” the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs stated on this occasion.

Recently, after the visit of the leaders of the pro-Western opposition of Serbia Dragan Djilas and Borko Stefanovic to Washington for instructions, the provocative activity of Serbian liberals has increased noticeably in the run-up to the general elections on April 3, 2022.

General Ratko Mladic is a career officer of the Yugoslav People's Army. With the collapse of the country, he initially took part in hostilities on Croatian territory against armed gangs of local separatists, and since May 1992 he became the chief of staff of the Republika Srpska Army.

In July 1995, he took the Boshnak enclave of Srebrenica, from which for several years Islamist gangs under the command of Nasser Oric attacked Serbian villages, which were savagely completely cut out along with all the inhabitants - in total, more than 3,5 thousand civilian Serbs died at the hands of the Mujahideen.

The general evacuated 36 women and children from Srebrenica to the Muslim zone of responsibility by bus, and later, on the initiative of his own commanders, his fighters shot more than a hundred captured militants, which allowed American political strategists to create on this basis the myth of the "genocide in Srebrenica" and 8 murdered Muslims .

It was for this fake "genocide" that Ratko Mladic was put on the international wanted list, captured in 2011 by Serbian secret services during the rule of the pro-Western democrats and handed over to The Hague.

The trial of the hero of the Serbian people was carried out with obvious procedural violations, and despite the fact that no evidence of the general’s direct participation in the “genocide” was presented, he was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Tellingly, Ratko Mladic was always a stranger to nationalist ideology and recorded himself as a Yugoslav during the census.
