The Ukrainian Ambassador to Serbia laid flowers at the Belgrade monument to the victims of the Second World War alone on May 8.

The ambassadors of Russia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Belarus laid flowers on May 9 along with representatives of the Serbian government. At the same time, the anthems of these countries and Serbia were performed.
The Russian anthem was also played at a large rally in honor of Victory Day in Belgrade. It was attended by high-ranking Serbian officials. In particular, the Speaker of the Serbian Parliament Ivica Dacic, the Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandar Vulin and the Minister of Labor Daria Kisic Tepavcevic.
The rally participants held the letter Z and portraits of Russian President Vladimir Putin in their hands. The Immortal Regiment also took place in Belgrade.
