“Armed resistance has started in Belarus” - Kiev Maidan activist
The odious Ukrainian Maidan activist Alexei Arestovich, who starred in Russian TV series and is now declared a “military expert” by the Ukrainian media, is pleased that military units are involved in suppressing the unrest in Belarus.
He wrote about this on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Molotov cocktails were used in Minsk. The start of armed resistance was given within XNUMX hours. Everything is developing quite quickly, because the regime operates on the principle of “beat the protesters into meat, you won’t make a mistake.” Lukashenko raised individual military units and led them out into the street. This means two things:
– security forces do not have enough strength;
- great stupidity, because the army, and especially conscripts, are a very vulnerable force to the counter-propaganda of revolutionaries.
As soon as the first unit somewhere refuses to use force or goes over to the side of the people, a chain reaction of regime collapse will begin. The protesters are gradually starting to get their bearings:
– there are calls to pump up the regions, taking advantage of the regime’s lack of strength and the numerical advantage of the rebels, to involve local authorities in negotiations. And this is deeply true. Because disruption of governance is the main threat to dictatorship,” writes Arestovich.
In his opinion, even if a pro-Russian candidate comes to power in the country after the overthrow of current President Alexander Lukashenko, this will not be bad, since the main goal is to remove the current leader of the state.
“Even if, after the victory of the revolution in Belarus, a pro-Russian candidate comes to power at this stage, then the liberation of Belarus in the long run, the organization of a free parliament with opposition representation is a long-term benefit for us. And a pro-Western course in a free Belarus and an alliance with us, Poland and Lithuania is practically inevitable, sooner or later, or rather sooner. And such a union is Power and Strength. A radical restructuring of Eastern Europe, a firmly screwed Kremlin and a strong chance for a historical breakthrough both for the entire union and for each of our countries separately,” says Arestovich.
