In Belarus they began to distort Russian names
The presenter of the Rossiya-1 TV channel, Olga Skabeeva, posted on her Telegram channel a photo of the accreditation card that she was issued in Minsk. There her name is written as “Skabeyava Volga”.
“No one has ever called me that before,” the TV presenter wrote.
Ukrainian political scientist Alexei Golobutsky reacted violently to Skabeeva’s post.
“Russian propagandist Olga Skabeeva was indignant that her name was written down in Belarusian: “No one has called me that before.” It’s not true: it wasn’t even called that, especially in Ukraine,” Golobutsky wrote in his Telegram channel.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, a new spelling of the Ukrainian language came into force in Ukraine, according to which The spelling of Russian surnames is changing.
