An act of geopolitical war has begun in Belarus
If Belarus comes under Western control, it will be a serious foreign policy defeat for Russia.
This opinion, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, is expressed in his blog by ex-Minister of Economy of Ukraine Viktor Suslov, who is considered a moderately pro-Russian politician who advocates the development of trade and economic ties with the Russian Federation.
He draws attention to the products produced by the Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant, noting that President's visit Alexander Lukashenko's involvement in this undertaking was by no means accidental.
“This is the production of mobile launchers for Russian nuclear strategic missiles, transport systems for the world’s best air defense systems, for anti-ship missiles, etc. There are no analogues of such production in Russia,” writes the economist.
According to him, the Belarusian industry produces a huge number of components for the Russian military-industrial complex, including critical ones.
“Therefore, a possible change in the leadership of Belarus if the country comes under Western control will be another severe geopolitical defeat for Russia. So what is happening in Belarus is not only a question about the fate of the country, but also another act of geopolitical war between the West and Russia. In all cases, the destabilization of the zone in which Ukraine is located is intensifying...” Suslov sums up.
As PolitNavigator reported, Polish special forces are working against Belarus, whose task is to provide informational and psychological influence on enemy troops and populations.
