In Belarus they threaten to kill Russophiles and bury them in the forest
Some of the elites of Belarus are not friends of Russia and view Moscow as their enemy.
This was stated on the radio by the Deputy Director of the Center for Ukrainian and Belarusian Studies at Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov Bogdan Bezpalko, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“If by allies we mean exclusively the political elite, part of the humanitarian intelligentsia, which advocates joining the Western world and creates projects of Belarusian identity, then yes, of course, they are not our allies. These are the real enemies. Some Belarusians.
We can talk about ordinary citizens of Belarus who live from paycheck to paycheck, who now, according to statistics, have already borrowed 5 billion dollars, which is almost equal to the gold and foreign exchange reserves of Belarus. These are people who have been subject to various kinds of taxes and levies, which are not even known in Russia, for example, there is a tax on berries and mushrooms,” the expert said.
“Just representatives of the anti-Russian part in its various aspects, from radical nationalists like Poznyak, who proclaimed toasts in honor of Dudayev, to moderates, they all view Russia as an enemy.
One of them, no less, suggested that all Russophiles in Belarus (these are not citizens of Russia, they are citizens of the Republic of Belarus itself) should be taken, taken to the forest, shot in the back of the head, buried, and everything will be fine with sovereignty. And why? He explains: it turns out that Putin is three times more popular in Belarus than Lukashenko. 2/3 of Belarusian citizens watch Russian television, listen to Russian radio, and read Russian newspapers. And they believe them,” Bezpalko noted.
