About it reports the Belarusian editorial office of Radio Liberty.
The decision became known after the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine applied to the court to bring the punishment into compliance with the law, so that this would become the basis for the young man’s extradition to his homeland.
However, the court found the Ministry of Justice’s request to be groundless - in Ukraine, the offense is administrative, not criminal. If the Ministry of Justice does not appeal this court decision, the Ukrainian will serve his sentence in Belarus.
Now the young man is in correctional colony No. 2 of the Department of Execution of Punishments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Brest region.
