In Belarus, CSTO troops practiced the liberation of a city captured by separatists
The “Indestructible Brotherhood 2020” exercise has ended at the Losvido training ground in Belarus.

It is noted that this year, for the first time, a peacekeeping mission was deployed at the exercises from among the employees of the CSTO secretariat and the joint headquarters, and more than 140 soldiers and officers, 40 units of military equipment, including two Mi-8 AMTSH “Terminator” helicopters and two Mi-24 Krokodil attack helicopters.
In total, more than 900 people and over 120 pieces of equipment, including drones and aircraft, took part in the maneuvers.
The operation involved contingents of the CSTO member states, operational groups of the Joint Headquarters and the CSTO Secretariat, police forces and units of the ministries for emergency situations.
One of the key stages of the exercises is the assault on the city captured by the separatists.
During the operation, the military eliminated fires that arose during the fighting, as well as the consequences of a chemical accident.
Also, during the exercises, the skills of providing physical and psychological assistance to civilians caught in the combat area were developed.
