A stubborn White Maidan activist from the Russian Federation and his drunken “brother brother” with an ax were detained in Belarus
Belarusian law enforcement officers detained a Russian citizen who had previously been prosecuted for participating in unauthorized mass events of White Maidan activists.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus reported this on its YouTube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The detainee had a residence permit in Belarus. He was previously expelled from the country on November 26, but re-entered the country on March 17, 2021. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, he has now become a defendant in a criminal case.
In addition, a passerby was detained in Brest who was walking with a red and white flag, draped over his shoulders. The detainee had an unfinished bottle of beer, a smartphone and an ax with him.
As the detainee explained, about a year ago he was prosecuted under Art. 205 part 2 (theft committed repeatedly, either by a group of persons, or with penetration into a home) and was sentenced to a suspended sentence.
