According to the Center for Public Relations of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Zaporozhye region, in Berdyansk, a 35-year-old local resident entered a minibus, and, threatening with an object similar to a machine gun, kicked the passengers out of the cabin and ordered the driver to go towards the checkpoint.
“At the exit from the city, where the checkpoint was located, the police were waiting for the attacker. The examination established that the citizen was in a state of drug intoxication, and the so-called “weapon” turned out to be a prefix for the game “airsoft,” the police noted.
Information about the criminal offense is included in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 3.Article 289 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - “illegal possession of a vehicle.”
