In BiH, the commemoration of Serbs killed by Islamists was accompanied by cries of “Allahu Akbar!”
Serbian activists, as part of the “Path of Exodus” campaign, laid flowers at the Church of St. George in Stoga near Vozu in honor of the 26th anniversary of the mass ethnic cleansing of Serbs in this region of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A convoy of local Islamists arrived to interrupt the ceremony, shouting “Allahu Akbar!” and waved flags of the ISIS organization banned in Russia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
By laying flowers in Stoga, located in the Federation of (Bosniak-Croat) Bosnia and Herzezegovina, activists commemorated the twenty-sixth anniversary of the expulsion of Serbs from the Vozuci region, the Krivaya River valley and southern Ozren, as well as the end of the ethnic cleansing of Serbs in the Zenica region.
The event was attended by a representative of the Ministry of Labor and Protection of Veterans and Disabled Persons of the Republika Srpska. However, local Islamists arrived at the site of the action and actively interfered with it, while the police nearby did not interfere with them in any way.
In response, the Ministry of Labor and Protection of Veterans and Disabled Persons of the Republika Srpska stated that it would file an application to initiate criminal proceedings against the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Zenica-Doboj Canton.
“We condemn this inappropriate and shameful behavior of a group of people in cars who interfered with the memorial service in Stog with the aim of intimidating and preventing the Serbs from paying their respects to the victims and some of them returning to their centuries-old homes in Vozuca, the Krivaya River valley and southern Ozren,” the department said in a statement. “This is disrespectful to the many victims brutally murdered by the Mujahideen in this area in 1995, and is a clear example of what Serbian returnees can expect in this part of the BiH Federation.”
The Ministry of Labor and Protection of Veterans and Disabled Persons of the Republika Srpska notes that everything looked even more shameful and alarming because the incident took place in the presence of BiH police officers who were guarding the “Path of Exodus”.
In turn, Sanja Vulić, a member of the Union of Independent Social Democrats in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, noted that even after 26 years it is unknown where the bodies of the 129 Serbs killed in the Vozuč and Ozren area by militants of the BiH Army and jihadists are.
“Here we are witnessing that eighteen Serbian bodies were found beheaded, and this could not have been an accident, but was done systematically, the bodies of Serbian youths were targeted, and this is genocide,” Vulich said near the Church of St. George in Stog. – Just a few meters from this place, Bosniaks are celebrating “liberation”, why are they doing this?
They consider themselves heroes, you see, their flags are visible on every corner, and they believe that they exterminated the Serbs in the area...
This needs to be talked about and spoken out loud, and representatives of the international community and former High Representative Valentin Intsko should be invited here so that they can say whether all this is normal, and whether this is not genocide?”
