Kyiv, October 14 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Stepan Poltorak, appointed today by the Verkhovna Rada as Minister of Defense of Ukraine, has a dark spot in his biography, warns the newspaper “Young Ukraine”.

“There is a serious stain on the reputation of 49-year-old Poltorak: they remember how, back in the days of Yanukovych, Poltorak headed the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kharkov, in full agreement with Mikhail Dobkin, obstructed the revolutionary movement that began a year ago, and even brought a thousand cadets of his university to Kiev so that they resist Euromaidan.
