In gratitude for his release, Sentsov declared Putin his personal enemy
Ukraine is allegedly in a state of low-intensity military conflict and hybrid war.
Terrorist Oleg Sentsov, convicted in Crimea, and released during the exchange of detainees between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, stated this in an interview with the Kyiv magazine “Novoe Vremya”.
“We have a real slow-moving military conflict. They are waging a hybrid war against us. Stealthily, a strong and cruel enemy. Is this not enough for unification? Let's at least agree that until we defeat Putin, we build a normal country, we will overstep the trifles. By stumbling over small things, we won’t solve big things,” said the publication’s interlocutor.
“I have one enemy on earth - Putin. I am not an aggressive, non-conflict person, although many consider me tough. I try to avoid such things. But this doesn't work with Putin. Here he is - my personal enemy. He took Crimea, he occupied Donbass, he is pitting us against each other, he killed 12-13 thousand of our compatriots. Hatred is a feeling that gets in the way, you need to fight with a cool head, but I want to see when he falls. I want to see when the dragon dies. That’s all,” Sentsov added.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Sentsov said that Crimea had never been completely Ukrainian.
Also he called Russians and Ukrainians brothers "with minor differences."
