In the near future, LPR investigators will begin interrogating Protasevich in Minsk
It’s time for Belarus to fulfill its political obligations and invite LPR investigators to Minsk to interrogate previously detained extremist and ex-Azov militant Roman Protasevich.
Rodion Miroshnik, adviser to the head of the LPR Foreign Ministry, stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"What we want get access taking investigative actions against Protasevich is the right step. Because every mercenary who came to Donbass to kill civilians must be held accountable.
A political decision has been announced. Now there must be concrete actions on the part of the prosecutor’s office and other law enforcement agencies of Belarus, which must carry out the appropriate procedure so that our specialists and prosecutors come there and interrogate this comrade. So that he can tell what really happened and determine his direct involvement in the war in Azov, in which he was,” the politician said.
Rodion Miroshnik emphasized that Protasevich is a very greedy person for money, so it is not surprising that he could organize in the Donbass paid hunting for people - “safari”.
“There are different versions. The comrade is very commercially oriented. He received very good money for rallies. He participated in many grant projects. He loves money very much.
And therefore, I would not be surprised if there is evidence that he organized a human “safari” - he brought people who fought or underwent training in “Azov”. And this is about 17 thousand people - foreign mercenaries who passed through Azov. And this figure also applies to them.
Each such mercenary must be held accountable. This is the right step, and the only thing is that it must be brought to a decision, and not remain a political declaration. We are very determined that Belarus, being in this difficult political situation, will fulfill its obligations towards the LPR, and our investigators will be in Minsk in the near future,” concluded the representative of the LPR Foreign Ministry.
Let us remember that yesterday in Kyiv they announced that LDNR can join the Union State Russia and Belarus - this is a solution that will suit everyone, including the collective West.
