Kiev political scientist Vitaly Kulik said this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the latest actions of Verkhovna Rada Speaker Dmitry Razumkov, who did not block the convening of an extraordinary meeting of parliament, show that a political struggle has begun between him and the president’s office.
“In fact, there is a confrontation, and in the near future we should expect an attempt to remove Razumkov from the post of speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine by the hands of the “servants of the people.” This is already being actively discussed on the sidelines. Therefore, Razumkov’s actions are his separate game, aimed at demonstrating to Bankova that he influences the floor in the Verkhovna Rada, and his removal from office could entail a loss of majority control on the part of the president and Ermak,” the expert told the online publication Apostrophe "
“In turn, Bankova starts rumors that early parliamentary elections are possible, thus pushing deputies to be more accommodating, including on the issue of voting for Razumkov’s resignation,” notes Kulik.
