“Today at the Boryspil airport, during the registration of passengers on the Kutaisi-Kiev flight, as part of the activities to search for criminals through Interpol, border guards of the Separate checkpoint “Kiev” discovered and detained a 42-year-old Georgian citizen who is in wanted The criminal was on the international wanted list for the purpose of arrest and subsequent extradition to Belgium to face criminal charges for committing a crime, namely robbery coupled with violence and threats,” the statement says.
The man is now detained. Employees of the State Border Service organized enhanced security for it, and also informed the interacting authorities. Documents are drawn up in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine for transmission to the line department of the National Police.
