The investigation established that Stevic, who lived in the capital of Republika Srpska, the city of Banja Luka, left Belgrade for Lugansk in 2014, where he took part in hostilities in the Donbass as part of the Jovan Šević battalion.

It is reported that Stevich fought as a volunteer in the Donbass along with other immigrants from the former Yugoslavia.

“The charge under Article 162B of the Criminal Code of BiH (illegal creation and participation in foreign paramilitary and parapolice formations) has been submitted for approval to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” the statement says.
