Agranovich died from shrapnel wounds as a result of shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“And again the war takes away the best... In the heavy battles for Avdeevka, “Vodyanoy”, the commander of the second company of the legendary “Sparta” battalion, died. Kind, sympathetic, fearless. They say about such people - the salt of the earth. Hero, warrior, friend and brother,” Pegov wrote.

“Vodyanoy” went to fight in 2014 from the first days of hostilities in Donbass, fought in many directions shoulder to shoulder with the legendary battalion commanders “Motorola”, “Vokhoy”, “Gogoy” and dreamed of liberating Slavyansk. The deceased's brothers-in-arms promise to continue his work and avenge the death of Agranovich.
