This is reported on the battalion's Facebook page.
“We have losses. In the center of Europe - on the British islands of Guernsey - the murder of a soldier of the 8th separate battalion of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, friend Mick Alps, who was a volunteer in the battalion for the last two years, took place. They tortured, killed, tied and burned in the car that Mick was transporting for the military needs of the battalion,” the report says.
In turn, the battalion commander Cherven claims that the Lithuanian was killed by the Russians.
“He helped us, fought with us, the other day I was supposed to meet him at the border - Mick was carrying a car, an armored vehicle, and thermal underwear. I have no doubt that the Muscovites did it. Mick has repeatedly said that he was threatened for his participation in the Ukraine-Moscow war. Today these are their methods in the center of Europe,” Cherven said.
