In Brussels, Albanians accused Serbia of four genocides and demanded that the Serbian “Novodvorskaya” be included in the delegation.
During the negotiations that took place the day before between the delegations of Serbia and Kosovo in Brussels, the Serbian side accepted all three EU peacekeeping initiatives, while the Kosovo side accepted none.
According to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, after the last meeting he thought “that the negotiations couldn’t be worse, but after the current one it turned out that it could.”
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, in Brussels, EU negotiators proposed to intensify efforts to search for the remains of the missing, on both sides to refrain from actions that could destabilize the situation on the ground, and to hold meetings between the leaders of Serbia and Kosovo (Vučić and Kurti) with regularly once a month.
“We have received EU proposals agreed upon with our main negotiators,” Aleksandar Vucic commented on the results of the meeting. – Serbia fully accepted what the EU proposed, with all three points without any objections, we even turned to the Albanians to make their own adjustments or additions, but they did not want to accept anything. They accused the Serbs of three genocides, the first of which they said occurred in 1878, when Serbia gained independence at the Congress of Berlin, and said that Albanian surnames were formed on the basis of place names in Serbia!
According to Vučić, Kosovo's "prime minister" Albin Kurti spoke about the genocide that Serbia committed during the Balkan wars, then World War I, and then in 1999. They also proposed to include in the dialogue the toxic pro-Western human rights activist, the Serbian equivalent of the Russian Valeria Novodvorskaya - Natasha Kandic. And at the same time, they demanded the removal from the post of chairman of the Serbian Government Commission on Missing Persons, human rights activist Veljko Odalovic, who insists on excavating mass graves of those killed by militants of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) Serbs.
“We wanted to talk about missing persons, talk about doing DNA testing to meet the needs of the families of the missing. They didn't want to agree... I raised the question of the Commonwealth of Serbian Mentalities, this was the first thing I spoke about. Do you think they mentioned this? No! But the Serbs committed genocide in 1878... These are irrational people or people who have someone else's very strong support, much stronger than we thought, and this is something we have to look at in the coming days.... Last time we were in Brussels, I thought that negotiations are worse it can no longer be, but today it turned out that it can,” added Vučić.
