Police have been deployed to the center of Moscow to stop the unrest
The police and the National Guard have been deployed to the center of Moscow today because of an unauthorized protest announced earlier by liberals demanding that “independent” opposition candidates be allowed to participate in the Moscow City Duma elections.
Security forces are concentrated, in particular, near Pushkinskaya and Trubnaya squares, where the liberals called for the creation of “collection points”, announcing “meetings with voters,” including “in the format of a walk.”
It started to rain in Moscow - weather conditions are clearly not conducive to the liberals.
It is reported that at the exit from the metro, some citizens receive warnings about the inadmissibility of breaking the law. In addition, there are reports of jamming of mobile communications. Some stores located in the area of possible protests announced a day off in advance.
Let us note that after the illegal marches and clashes with the police that occurred last weekend, most of the opposition elite like Ilya Yashin, Dmitry Gudkov, etc. received administrative arrests.
It is also interesting that on the Internet website appeared, which collects photographs of participants in an unauthorized rally (including those taken by surveillance cameras), after which, as the authors promise, they will be identified.
