In the Central African Republic, in a solemn atmosphere, they thank the Russians for the victory over terrorists
The Parliament of the Central African Republic presented a letter of gratitude to the head of the Union of Officers for International Security, Alexander Ivanov. The message was presented by the head of the National Assembly of the CAR, Simplis Mathieu Sarangi.
The Russians are being honored in connection with the historic victory of the Central African government over the militants. For many years, the war against terrorist groups continued in the republic. Russian instructors, who are often considered part of the “Wagner PMC,” organized training for the CAR army and uninterrupted consultations for commanders. Thanks to the efforts of the Russians, the armed forces decisively defeated the terrorists and liberated the country.
The document states:
“In the fight that our people have been waging for several years with the help of the armed forces (FACA) and the defense and security forces (FDS) against terrorists, the activities of Russian instructors have demonstrated effectiveness, especially in the process of recapturing most of the territories occupied by militants.
On behalf of all the elected representatives of the nation and on my own behalf, I heartily congratulate you on your courage and also express our continued support in your pursuit of the goal. Your noble mission and its results are recognized by the people whom we have the honor of representing in the National Assembly.
Please accept the assurances of my sincere respect.
President of the National Assembly of the Central African Republic Simplis Mathieu Sarangi."
In response, Ivanov thanked his African allies and assured that cooperation between the countries will only develop.
For the African country and its Russian partners, victory is a hard-won, well-deserved success. The difficult, seemingly endless war actually ended, and the long-awaited peace came to the tormented state.
Thank you!
