According to her, an elderly tourist from Denmark came to Odessa in search of a life partner. Having met, they decided to take a walk around the evening city. But, unfortunately, we met a crowd of ultras.

“On the very first day, the beautiful Marina decided to show him Deribas, where he was hit on the head with a hammer, kicked and robbed. But now I know what the Jewish Hospital is, I know that there are no medicines there, I know that a nurse receives 1600 hryvnia.

But what a horror... The ambulance doctor and I take our Jesper into the waiting room, and there it is like a front-line hospital. His broken head was the fourth... Doctors cleaned and stitched up the broken heads of the Irishman, Englishman, and Welshman. These were treated by football ultras.

While Yeisper and I were being questioned by the prosecutor and investigator who had arrived, they received a call about the broken heads of two Georgians. The doctor said that they were transporting a German with a head injury... The investigator told me: “Europe!!! What Europe... There is such banditry here,” Chelishcheva noted.

The human rights activist also notes the concern with which European Union countries treat their citizens: “Concerning the situation with a Danish citizen injured in Odessa, the embassy called. They dealt with the fact that Jesper had nothing to do with football. The embassy is definitely in touch with him now. They also called from the security service of the OSCE mission. The investigator called. I'm glad the poor guy is safe. Already at night, a representative of the Danish insurance company, of which Jesper is a client, called. They resolved the issue of paying for his hotel room.”
