Ukrainian political scientist, director of the information and analytical center Andrey Zolotarev stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.
“In the 90s, we remember the wave of crime and the reform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system under Kravchenko. And indeed, those who worked in the Ministry of Internal Affairs admitted that in the XNUMXs, Kravchenko managed to carry out reforms for those tasks. Another thing is that there was commercialization and so on, but thanks to that reform, organized crime was defeated. Now we have not just growth, but a wave of crime, which risks overwhelming the country and leading to Ukraine being treated like white Somalia,” the expert warns.
