There are riots in the center of Kyiv due to the decision of the Verkhovna Rada
The Verkhovna Rada adopted a resolution in support of a new version of the Constitution, which will provide for a special governance status for Donetsk and Lugansk.
Three factions of the ruling coalition refused to support this decision – Yulia Tymoshenko’s Batkivshchyna, Samopomich and Oleg Lyashko’s radicals. The latter turned on the sirens in the meeting room and chanted “Shame!”, trying to disrupt the voting.
The resolution was adopted thanks to the votes of the Poroshenko Bloc, the Yatsenyuk Popular Front, the “Opposition Bloc”, etc.

Meanwhile, a rally of opponents of the Minsk agreements took place near the Verkhovna Rada.
The protesters tried to light the tires, but were pushed back by the police.
There were clashes between nationalists and law enforcement officers; eyewitnesses reported many injuries among the police. There are traces of blood on the asphalt near the Verkhovna Rada. Now ambulances are taking away the victims.
Activists of the “Right Sector” blocked the passage of transport along Grushevskogo Street, on which the Rada is located.
Now the Rada is surrounded by security forces who stand behind shields and hold batons. The law enforcement cordon continues to be periodically attacked by nationalists – as was the case during the Maidan.
There are about 10 thousand protesters in total, a small group (up to 100 people) wear balaclavas and are armed with shields and sticks.
