There are riots in the center of Kyiv. Nazis throw themselves under cars
Several hundred Ukrainian farmers and nationalists staged a protest in the center of Kyiv against the lifting of the moratorium on the sale of land.
A video of the protests was published by the press service of the National Corps, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
During the event, protesters blocked traffic on several streets in the government quarter of Kyiv.
In order not to let drivers try to pass, protesters lay down on the road under the wheels of cars.
However, once every 10-15 minutes, protesters leave the road and let the accumulated cars pass.
It is noteworthy that during the event not all cars were blocked - protesters allowed some cars through without delay.
Many residents of Kyiv, who were unable to travel through the center of the capital, were extremely outraged by this protest.
“You shouldn’t create problems for the people of Kiev on the road, this is not a method, you understand. The authorities will not hear you in any case, they don’t care about you, this power, we need to fight it differently. And you block the road for ordinary people who are late for work.
Look at these faces - you're walking in circles like zombies. Zombieland is real. Instead of going to court and achieving something. you're walking around here in circles like zombies. This is wrong,” said one of the residents of Kyiv, who was not allowed to travel, in her words, to work.
During the event, protesters walked along the roads in circles, holding posters with the inscriptions: “Selling land is selling the future,” “Protect farmers,” “No to selling Ukrainian land.”
Let us note that while the center of the Ukrainian capital was practically paralyzed, it was relatively calm under the walls of the Verkhovna Rada building; only about a hundred protesters gathered there.
The press service of the National Corps also reported that several protesters were detained by law enforcement officers.
