In the center of Kyiv, former colleagues beat up a homosexual punisher
In Kyiv, during the “Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine,” an ex-ATO militant beat up a volunteer of the “Donbass” battalion, homosexual nationalist Viktor Pilipenko. The victim reported this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It should be noted that Viktor Fillipenko is one of the organizers and participants in the column of LGTB soldiers who took part in the equality march in July of this year.
“It’s disgusting at heart. Today I was attacked by a homophobe. I was talking with a disabled war veteran and his wife in front of photographs of the dead guys on Mikhailovskaya when I felt a blow to the back of my head.
In the first seconds, I remember, there was no pain, no anger, only curiosity - who could it be? He turned out to be a former colleague, not a brother. Just a man who put his sexual homophobic aggression towards representatives of non-hetero orientation above military brotherhood,” Pilipenko wrote, also publishing a photograph with the “terrible consequences” of the beating.
Pilipenko complained that because of his sexual orientation he was being persecuted by the people and his colleagues.
“Another homophobe immediately started writing in private messages that I was a “mistake,” that I was “not the people” to whom the military swore allegiance, as if I were a monkey.
How did I cross the path of at least someone? By the fact that I came out in a T-shirt with my chevron, which I wore throughout the war, on a march of equality to demand my right to a family, the right to have children and live a happy life, so that me and my future husband would not be attacked and threatened by homophobes?
I feel very disgusted. I cried after this event. Not from the beatings, but from this hatred that he felt, the attacker put that blow into my back,” the gay nationalist concluded.
Thank you!
