People's Deputy Mustafa Nayem was attacked by unknown assailants in the center of Kyiv as a result of a conflict on the road, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The deputy remains in the emergency room with injuries.
“There was a car driving in front of me, possibly an escort. The driver tried several times to break traffic rules and cut me off. I stopped, went over to talk to him, then called the police. While she was driving, several more people arrived at the scene, I don’t remember what happened next very well - I received a strong blow, and more than one. I don’t understand what kind of injuries yet, but my head hurts very badly and there’s probably something wrong with my jaw,” Nayem told the publication.
The head of the Kyiv Patrol Police, Yuriy Zozulya, confirmed the attack on the parliamentarian. According to him, the suspects initially fled the scene of the incident, but the police detained them.
“In total, four were detained. The case is then classified under a certain article by the investigative authorities, but it looks like these are hooligan actions,” Zozulya said.
When asked whether the conflict was preceded by an accident on the road, the head of the patrol police replied that he could not say this yet.
According to Censor.NET, Nayem did not allow the driver of a Mercedes G-Wagen to pass, whose driver got out and hit the MP. Later, another car, a BMW, arrived, the driver of which also struck Mustafa Nayem.
